Small diner with good food. The cheese balls are the nest I've ever had. The burger was basic but well prepared and delicious. The lemonade really is good and served in generous portions. Staff did a great job.

Such a cute little place. Feels like an old school bbq house. Food was excellent. Prices are great and service was the best! Pink lemonade is a must.

Always, at least once, Hayden's we're when in town. This time, I had an excellent fish sandwich with lettuce and tomato and the obligatory pink lemonade that's as good as ever. Bought a bottle of sauce to take home. Sat outside at picnic table. Friendly and informative counter woman.

Small town restaurants don't get any better than this. Super nice employees and the tasty food to back it up? If you're in Poplar Bluff and want a fantastic, made to order breakfast this is the place to go. The omelet sandwich on Texas Toast was a solid hit and the blueberry roll and chocolate gravy were as decadent and yummy as they are supposed to be. It's definitely going on our "stop by again" list because we want to give their lunch a shot next time. Plus, our puppy appreciated the love and bacon.

The business has new owners. It's hard NOT to compare it to the beloved Hayden's we've known and loved for so long. Leave those nostalgic memories in the parking lot. Along with any cravings for fried chicken. It is on the menu, but has never been available any time I've been there. They were out of grilled chicken for the sandwich as well. Also, keep in mind that this is no longer a barbecue restaurant! They do have it, but it is packaged. Not smoked or barbecued there. The food was good, just nothing compared to what it used to be. Including the famous Pink Lemonade. It had a powdery taste. I hope that they find their signature soon, I definitely want to see the new owners succeed!
